With the EIHL hockey season to start in late September one of the clubs to watch out for is the Cardiff devils. Before the suspension of games the devils were in first place, which is where they finished upon the season being suspended. The suspension was due to COVID 19.

Tigers’ Late Fightback in Vain

CLAN TO FACE STARS IN SEASON WARM-UP

The Glasgow Clan will take on Dundee Stars in a King’s Inch Cup match which will serve as a pre-season warm-up.

The game will take place on Wednesday 3rd November, with a face off set for 7.30pm as the new-look team, under new coach Malcolm Cameron, will play together for the first time.

What Next For Kaskisuo

simir Kaskisuo has had his cup of tea in the NHL, however, his game was not up to par.  Now he is stopping pucks in Sweden to fine-tune his game. Where does he go from here?
Kaskisuo made his NHL debut in the 2018-19 season with the Toronto Maple Leafs and made his first start during the 2019-20 season with the same Maple Leafs. After the season, he signed with the Nashville Predators. He often was on the taxi squad and would occasionally be the backup to either Juuse Saros or Pekka Rinne. He would make one appearance in the Nashville crease, making three saves in 15 minutes of playing time.

Steelers Add Blueline Size

e Sheffield Steelers have signed a former NHL defenseman to give their blue line some size. Coming on board is NHL veteran Keaton Ellerby.

The Steelers signed Ellerby because of the work he does at his end of the ice, his experience and his toughness. Although not a big fighting defenseman he does the dirty work and plays a physical game. Enough to keep the opposition honest. He will not hesitate to stick up for teammates but does not cross the line.

Stevenson delighted by Cameron reunion
